TRES RIOS STUD FARM belong to the businessman, Armando Raucci, and it is part of TRES RIOS AGROPECUARIA (a place designed for the art and science of agriculture and cattle raising) which includes farms to breed cattle Nelore in São Paulo and in Mato Grosso states. TRES RIOS STUD FARM started its activities in 1977 buying a Mangalarga's foal, attitude that unleashed the passion for the breed.
Time went by and, in 1988, the Stud Farm had a breeding-stock of approximately 240 horses, hawever, since quantity does not always mean quality, he decided to start a strict selection with the aid of the master experts of the Mangalarga Assocition, who wisely showed the most adequate path to be followed and obviously the results were soon obtained. The horses with the brand TRES RIOS started to attain expressive awards in the show exhibitions throughout Brazil turning out to be a reason of delight for the breeders who could see their names among the 5 top Mangalarga breeders in 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995.
Today, TRES RIOS STUD FARM has a new home, in the city of Itatiba in São Paulo state, on a surface of 250,03 acres with 50 stables and a breeding-stock of 25 broodmares and 4 stallions: INDIANO JO (Turbante JO x Nhandú JO); HERMOS OJC (Cocar JO x Cibalena Mangalarga); *MINISTRO JO (Gelanor OJC x Tasca JO) and GENIO TRES RIOS (Indiano JO x Arabia da Estancia).
*MINISTRO JO, wos several Championships of Morphology and Trotted March with a score of 96 points in his record, which is a outstanding qualification. This year, with the birth of his two sons, MINISTRO JO will undoubtedly be acknowledged as a prominent stallion.
*GENIO TRES RIOS is 16,43 hands in height at the withers, has a score of 95 points in his record and amassed several Championships of Morphology and Trotted March. He sired his first daughter, ESTRELA TRES RIOS, with a score of 98 in his record, what shows his extraordinary ability to sire.
