The Arabian Horse

We are about to commemorate Brazil’s 500th anniversary.

We are about to commemorate the 2000th year of the Christian calendar.

Many beautiful things have been either built or discovered over these five centuries in Brazil or these twenty centuries of the world. Rare are those, however, that have not deteriorated over time or, even worse, been destroyed by Man’s own hand. Among these survivors is the Arabian Horse, with its predominance over thirty centuries of basic proven traits in terms of both morphology and temperament. Unaware of the importance of their work, over the years the men of the desert have produced an important ally for their very survival.

Nowadays, throngs of people throughout the world carry on representing this new Bedouin caste.

However these breeders do so not in order to survive or to hold sway over their opponents, but for pleasure and love.

One can say that in several ways they have more responsibilities than the men of the desert, as on deciding to take up breeding they have to travel all over the world to carry out their activities as true guardians of a true heritage of humanity.

The Arabian Horse has survived for 3000 years. And it is sure to do so in the new millennium, getting stronger and more beautiful by the day. That is the way it is written for the Father of all Breeds.
