The Haras Paulista stud farm set up its breeding-stock on 17 December 1986, during the I Arabian New Year Auction. Since those days, when farm owner Sidney Lanera Muniz first started his quest for suitable premises on which to lodge several of the market’s leading available broodmares, this stud has taken enormous strides towards the firm establishment of the FHP (Haras Paulista stud farm) breeding-stock. Situated in Santo Antonio de Posse, a small town near the city of Campinas and lying 130km from the city of São Paulo, the Haras Paulista stud farm currently houses some of the Arabian breed’s most remarkable individuals. Within a total area of 210 acres, the Haras Paulista stud farm has a 25-strong broodmare band and accommodates the stallions *WH NORTHERN YANKEE and ENCHANTER MAGIC FHP.
