Since 1992 the Iannoni Stud has been contributing to the
developmente of Purebreed Lusitano in the country.

The Lusitano horse stands out for being exceptionally beautiful, rustic, functional, sweet-tempered, noble and extremely intelligent. Its unparalleled qualities explain the breed’s prestige that has been perpetuated for years and consequently its increasing demand.

The amazing aptitude of the Lusitano for training, together with its great versatility to face the various performance classes of modern Equitation, have captured the interest of the Iannoni family, who have transformed their initial passion into a successful business venture.

Located in the countryside of São Paulo State, in the Capão Bonito region, the Haras Iannoni stud is blessed with extraordinary topography and land of excellent quality, ideal conditions for the practice of Equestrian pursuits. In order to house the Iannoni breeding-stock, special constructions were built in line with the world’s most modern breeding and training centres. The stud’s area is divided into 15 paddocks of 9.9 acres each, on average. There is also an indoor arena of 1.500m where its stock is either installed or improved daily, and 40 stall barns, being 15 of them designed for training activities.

The current Iannoni breeding-stock consists of more than 100 individuals, including 20 broodmares in foal and numerous stallions crowned with the breed’s top awards. Aiming the breeding towards the search of the functional horse, the Haras Iannoni stud farm has purchased products of the best possible lineages and has also selected its herd with the goals of reaching the highest sporting performance.

The Haras Iannoni stud has stood out for amassing honourable titles in morphology trials not only at national but also international Lusitano Horse shows. At Equestrian championships, the stud has also confirmed the high quality of its products, by being awarded annual champion in functional classes, three years in a row. Iannoni’s overseas record includes countless wins through acquired individuals who make up the base of their breeding stock, being the Brazilian stud farm to have amassed the greatest number of awards in Portugal.
